Thanks for your mention of Polar Rose in this post. We really do agree that a fundamental shift is happening and like your phrasing of this as "media searching media". 

Just a quick note on Polar Rose; we also rely on human input to train our engine and to add data where no exists. We call this bionic software, &lt;a href="http://radar.oreilly.com/archives/2006/03/bionic_software_1.html" rel="nofollow"&gt;as defined by my former employer, Tim O'Reilly&lt;/a&gt; -- computer helps user and user helps computer.
